Hospital Pierre Rouquès - Les Bluets

I have been meaning to write this review since the birth of my son in June 2019. I had a very positive experience with Les Bluets. I felt that the staff had a real passion for their work, for supporting and encouraging natural birth, and for doing everything in their power so that the baby will have a smooth welcome into the world. Due to a minor complication, we ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days following the birth, and during this time, the attention my son and I received, the care, the assistance, the support was unbeatable. I am very thankful to all the staff that made this experience such a special one. On a side note, we were warned in advance from friends that the rooms were not so accommodating for the partners, so we brought a blow up bed for my husband. So if you want your partner to stay the nights with you, make sure to bring a blow up mattress if you can. This is long overdue, a big warm thank you to everyone at Les Bluets - thanks to your care, passion and hard work we have a happy healthy boy and I hope to return for my second <3

I went today due a strong pain, it was not the best services and kind at first, but when I was in in the ER, I got two nice nurses who helped me a lot they found the issue. It was five minutes after confirmed by the Dr. which it was really nice and explained everything to me. I truly appreciate the service today. Now I'm treating my pain. Thanks again. I wish to have their names to thank them.

Simply incredible. If the public hospital could resemble the Bluets maternity ward everywhere in France...the staff are friendly, competent, smiling and extremely available. When you start life as a parent, being accompanied by so much tenderness, kindness and competence is a treasure that you must ensure is preserved for as long as possible 🙏🏻

I wanted to share my positive experience regarding the childbirth preparation classes given by Virginie, the midwife. My wife and I recently took these classes, and we were extremely pleased with the experience. Virginie stands out for her warm and attentive approach. She takes the time to explain each step precisely, which greatly reassured us. Her skill and dedication are evident in every session, and she does not shy away from providing in-depth details. We are convinced that her lessons were crucial in our preparation for the imminent arrival of our baby. Due to the exceptional quality of Virginie's teachings, I can only highly recommend all future parents to follow her courses. It's definitely worth it. A big thank you to Virginie for her exceptional commitment.

For the first time in my life I am leaving a negative review but it is very important that the message gets across to future mothers! I would not go back to the staff who are adorable, competent and very human but who are fewer and fewer in number! Pregnancy monitoring is only done from the 8th month. In addition, the maternity ward practices overbooking! Be careful if you give birth during busy periods, you have every chance of being sent to another maternity ward because there are no rooms available! Two weeks ago Trousseau and the Diaconesses were full, the couple waiting with us left for Bichat, a woman for Beaujon and we left for the 14th. Are we luckier than this woman who wanted to give birth without an epidural and was “lucky” to do her job in front of us between the waiting room and the stairwell? (Big thought for her, I hope she managed to complete her project! In any case, no rooms for them, they were going to spend the night in the work room as soon as a room became available...) The midwives wasted precious time putting us in other maternity wards and finding ambulances for us (only one available that night). Between the moment my water broke and the moment I was able to set foot in a room on the other side of Paris, almost 9 hours passed, knowing that for my first pregnancy I had the work in less than 2 hours I'll let you imagine my state of stress. I currently have three friends who are planning to give birth at Les Bluets, none of them have received the information that it is possible that they will not give birth there! This is a reality and essential information to give to future mothers to avoid unnecessary stress. To date I have received no message, no explanation or apology from Bluets, I pay for my psychologist and my boxes of tissues on my own to try to get through this trauma. An angry mother.

We would also like to thank Chris (caregiver) for his lightness, humor and professionalism. Finally, thank you to the midwives, nursery nurses, pediatricians, hospital assistants on the floors, even if some are a little abrupt and overwhelmed by the lack of staff.
